LATEST TRADEMARK WORLD

The February issue of Trademark World, published by Informa, has now hit the streets. It contains, among other features, the following:

* Emma Jelley (Lovells) asks what affect the absorption of a further ten countries has had upon the operation of the Community trade mark system;

* Claus Eckhartt (Bardehle Pagenberg) looks at the final version of the Enforcement Directive and speculates as to what its impact will be upon IP practice in Germany, while Geoff Steward and Seema Sharma (Macfarlanes) do the same for English law;

* Naazneen Schittzehe (Briffa) looks at small business branding issues and says it's worth the cost even for the small fry to get their brand act together;

* A silly back page piece by IPKat co-author Jeremy on brands displaying human characteristics.
